End of the Days for Ganguly

Gangulys removal from the indian cricket team was pretty certain.
He was given one chance, and we cannot say that he blew it. He did perform, but that was not sufficient.
He had to prove a point, and to do that..a 39 or a 40 is not enough.
To make a comeback to the team...it was impertive that he should have played a match wining inning.

Although it invited a lot of wrath in Kolkata (Gangulys hometown)...the rest of the country took it pretty much in its stride.

Not that I oppose Gangulys exclusion for the third test at Ahmadabad, but given the vast experience he has, and the enormous contribution he has made to Indian cricket, I certainly believe he deservd a better exit.
