As Planned we took the bus to Aurangabad, and left Pune at 11.00.
We reached Aurangabad at about 5.00 on the morning of 13 August.
As the bus which would take us to Manikpunj was to come at 7.00, we decided to take a nap at the Bus stand.
After getting up at 6.15, we had tea (Hot sweet coloured water) outside the Aurangabad Bus stand.
By the time we had finished, our bus had come, and we were on our way to manikpunj.
We got off a little ahead of Kasari, and walked till we hit a river.
Initially we considered crossing it on foot, but the flow was too fast,and the water too deep. (We saw that even the locals were on the other bank were reluctant to cross it on foot).
Since there was no way out, we just had our breakfast, and decided to move to our next destination (Rajdher) and come to Manikpung again on our return journey.
But Luck was with us, ans as we were about to leave, we saw a local fisherman with his boat.
We got a boat ride to the other bank
This was the beginning of the different modes of transport that we were destined to take during the course of the trek.
