RTO Pune

RTO (Regional traffic office) Pune has now decided to issue Smart card driving licenses.
The card will have a microchip containing all the data about the license and all history of the traffic offences if any.
       For once ...I thought that RTO is finally improving....but when I actuall reached there...there was no such hope anymore. The process is the same old story..illing out the dirty form..standing endlessly in the line while ignoring the scores of agents who throng you...and promice to get virtually any job done....Medical..Ho jayega..hamere pas doctor bhi hein... Duplicate license....FIR naahi hein..no problem..Hum karva denge. It seems nothing is impossible for these agents.
    But I stood my ground, and deided to get the job done on my own. But soon I was to find out that I had  made a big mistake.
 RTO officers ..for no reason whatsoever decided to shut the window. Everybody in the line had to leave. No reason given.

On my way back home...I thought. All this Hi-tech implmentation...how is this change really gonna help us. What we really is the change in attidude from these Babus.
