Today I made a second attempt at getting the license.
This time fortunately RTO was open. The window was supposed to open at 10.00, but as per the tradition..the official there reluctantly came by 10.30. By then there was a longt queue, but as I had reached there by 10..I was in the first few.
The queue started moving, an I hoped that within few minutes..I will be through.....But !!!...RTO is a place where Murphy's law is proven again and again every time. The computer had broken down..then the babu at the window suddenly dissappeared, leaving all the people waiting for another 20 minutes.
He tarted the machine..and thi time around...I was finally able to pay the license fees..get myself photographed and fingerprinted.
By 11.45 ..everything was done.
An excursion successfully completed !!!
